A homestead farm that had been in the family for generations was in desperate need of updating. This eco-friendly family added two large wings onto the existing farmhouse and needed landscaping to go with their modern aesthetic.
Linear beds were added around the house to mimic the straight lines of the modern home additions. Native grasses, agave’s, and perennials were used to create a low-maintenance landscape that would tolerate the high winds atop this site nicknamed Hurricane Hill.
